Helicopter Spirals Out of Control into Palm Trees at Frequented Southern California Shoreline
A helicopter soaring over a well-attended coastal coastline abruptly started spinning uncontrollably, eventually descending rapidly and plunging into a row of palm fronds as spectators observed.
Videos shared on social media depict the helicopter beginning to twirl near the shoreline then descending in the direction of the perimeter of the shore, where it ends up lodged among palm trees and a steps close to the shoreline route.
First Aid Update
Emergency responders said five people were transported to a medical facility comprising two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” after the crash on the weekend.
Three people on the road were hurt. Information on their injuries were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.

Authorities said the aircraft was connected to an annual “Cars with Copters” charity gathering set for Sunday.
